The Ohio Outlaws are one of the more storied franchises in league history. Ohio won four of the first five league championships and added another in 1998, but it has been a long drought since then. The Outlaws have come close, but fell short several times.
For Ohio, it took an incredible effort from Austin Riley to put them back on top. It is fitting for the Outlaws that it was Riley's fifth inning solo shot that broke a 4-4 tie and wound up being the series-clinching hit.
Riley had one of the most, if not the most, dominating World Series performance in league history going 12-17 (.706 with four doubles, four homers and 15 RBI to go along with a 1.647 OPS.
For Mark Bloch, it his first championship since taking over the Outlaws in 2004. Ohio becomes the first team to six World Series Championship. Huge congrats to Mark!
Congratulations as well to Mike for a great regular season, being the only team with 100+ wins.
Give the league office until the second Satruday of December to relax and free agent claims will resume. See you in the Spring and GO BUCKS, BEAT MICHIGAN
