Kodai Senga was a bit wild Tuesday, walking four batters and needing 97 pitches to get through five innings so it was Tyler Holton who played hero for San Fernando Wednesday as the southpaw provided four innings of scoreless relief in the Tigers' 5-2 win over Ohio.
The win gives San Fernando a commanding two games to none lead as the series shifts to Columbus for games three, four and, if necessary, five. The series resumes on Friday.
NOTE: League office will be out of town for Ohio State game on Friday and Saturday.....Game 3 will be posted early Friday before I leave and Game 4 will be posted Sunday.
