In a series featuring the Contreras brothers on opposing teams, it was the elder Conteras who came through for Kansas City with a walk off RBI single. The T-Bones stunned Ohio to take a two games to one lead in that series.
Meanwhile, in Redondo Beach, the Tigers got an outstanding effort from Kyle Bradish who surprisingly struggled in the regular season. Brdish went six strong innings for San Fernando while Vlad Guerrero went 3-3 with a two-run double as San Fernando downed the Sharkz 8-1 to take a commanding three games to none lead in that series.
