14 years ago, the San Fernando Tigers set a franchise record with 95 wins. The 2010 club had the misfortune of missing the playoffs that year in a season that was the best in club history. In this their 39'th season, the club has only eclipsed the 90-win mark four times.
On Thursday, it is fitting that the two remaining original four teams met in Southern California on Tuesday where the Tigers downed Ohio 13 12-5 to set a new franchise record with 96 wins.
In what has been a historic year for the Tigers and their first 100+ win season all but assured, the Tigers are setting their sights on a new goal: end a 32-year title drought with their first championship since the infamous 1990 season.
