Prior to the Contraction Draft, the Toros traded the number one over all pick to the Outlaws in a massive deal. As expected, Ohio took Julio Rodriguez with the pick saving J-Rod from a season of misery.
While Tijuana will argue that the deal will reap rewards as early as next season, J-Rod punished the Toros on Saturday powering Ohio to an 11-5 win.
Tijuana is off to the worst start in league history, by far and on pace for just 9 wins.
