The Battle Of Southern California began Friday as the Sharkz and Tigers began their best of seven series. The Tigers finished with the best record in the league, but limped into the post-season losing their last six games of the year. In game one, the Tigers took a 4-2 lead into the top of the ninth, but Craig Kimbrel completely imploded, walking four batters and allowing two hits which allowed the Sharkz to tie the game at 4.
The game remained deadlocked until Bobby Witt Jr. walked it off in the bottom of the 15'th win a solo shot.
Meanwhile in Columbus, the Outlaws and T-Bones started their series. The Outlaws got off to a 1-0 lead on a Luis Roberts RBI double and Zac Gallen made that one run enough fanning 12 in eight shutout innings in a 1-0 win for Ohio.
