WAKE ME UP WHEN SEPTEMBER ENDS

Posted by tb on September 30th, 2023

With nine to play, the Smokers and Fighting Amish are in what amounts to a must-win here on out as they sit 3 and four games out of the final playoff spot. The Knights and Nanooks are currently tied for the final spot, but, if the season ended today, it would be three-time defending Champs who would be on the outside looking in as New York owns a 12-6 series lead over Vancouver this year.

11 TO GO!

Posted by tb on September 27th, 2023

With eleven games to go, the playoff picture is becoming a bit clearer. With a win tomorrow, Kansas City will officially clinch the top seed and a first round bye.

The Outlaws, who are +7 games up on the final playoff spot appear to be a shoe-in. The scorching-hot Sharkz and Wild Hogs are looking to solidify their playoff chances, with both teams up +3 games on the final spot.

The Fighting Amish are falling apart at the wrong time. Losers of five-straight games, Williamsport is now 5 games out of a playoff spot. While not officially out by any means, the flame on their 2023 season is about to be extinguished.

Right now, it appears to be the final spot that is going to be hotly contested. As of today, Vancouver holds that spot, but the slumping Knights are a game behind and the suddenly hot Smokers are just two back.

NANOOKS FACE OFF AGAINST NEW YORK IN SERIES THAT MIGHT DETERMINE THE PLAYOFFS

Posted by tb on September 25th, 2023

As the season draws to a close, Vancouver visits New York in a three-game series that might very well determine the playoff race.

In game one on Monday, the three-time defending champs scored three times in extra innings to win 4-1.

Meanwhile, things look very bleak for the Smokers who dropped the first of three with the lowly Toros to fall four games out of the final playoff spot.

NANOOKS GET HUGE WIN

Posted by tb on September 25th, 2023

With 15 games to go, there is currently a three-way tie for the final playoff spot between Vancouver, Redondo Beach and New York.

The slumping Fighting Amish and Smokers now find themselves three games behind the pack as both teams continue to struggle at the worst time.

SHARKZ STREAKING TOWARD PLAYOFFS

Posted by TB on September 23rd, 2023

Aaron Judge has quite literally put the Sharkz on his shoulders and is helping carry them into a potential playoff spot. Judge drove in his league-leading 130'th RBI as Redondo Beach won their seventh straight game.

If the season ended today, they would be in as well as New York, who is currently tied with Vancouver for the final playoff spot, but with an 11-4 record against the Nanooks, would get that playoff spot.

The slumping Smokers and luke-warm Fighting Amish are also out of the playoffs right now, two games behind the Nanooks and Knights.

THREE TEAMS HEADED TOWARDS EMOTIONAL DAMAGE

Posted by tb on September 21st, 2023

The surging Sharkz find themselves in a playoff spot if the season ended today. The three-time defending champs would be out as would Raleigh and Williamsport. With 18 games to go, two games separate five teams from the playoffs.

Raliegh and Vancouver are falling at the wrong time, while Redondo Beach is surging at the right time as are the Fighting Amish, though they are two games out right now.

THREE WAY TIE FOR FINAL SPOT!

Posted by tb on September 12th, 2023

The Nanooks, Hogs and Smokers are all tied with 73 wins. Fighting Amish and Sharkz are four games behind the pack with 69 win. 27 Games to go!

HOGS FALLING, FIGHTING AMISH PUSHING FOR SPOT

Posted by tb on September 10th, 2023

With 29 games left, San Antonio's four game skid has them tied for the final playoff spot with Raleigh, but the Smokers hold the tie breaker, with a 10-5 record against the Wild Hogs in 2023, so if the season ended today, the Hogs would be on the outside.

Williamsport continues a late-season push as their four-game winning streak has them just two games behind the Smokers and Hogs.

KC PULLING AWAY WHILE JUDGE TRIES TO CARRY THE SHARKZ

Posted by TB on September 7th, 2023

While Kansas City has all but wrapped up the first playoff spot and a first round bye, what follows behind them is nothing short of chaos. Aaron Judge homered twice in Redondo Beach's win, but both they and the FIghting Amish are on the outside looking in, four games behind Vancouver for the final spot.

The three-time defending champs are holding onto that spot, one game ahead of Raliegh.

CHAOS IN STANDINGS MEANS WILD FINISH IN STORE

Posted by tb on September 5th, 2023

The Knights lost to the lowly Toros on Tuesday. With their wins, the Smokers, FIghting Amish and Sharkz all gained a game and moved closer.

34 games to go and six teams are separated by just five games.
