Up until July 1, the Smokers 2024 season seemed like a lost cause, but since then, Raleigh has the second-best record in the league and they stayed hot Thursday as Juan Soto and Ronald Accuna each hit a three-run homer in the Smokers 10-3 win over New York.
The victory puts Raliegh deep in the playoff picture just a few games out of a wild card spot.
