In a series of moves, the Tigers added Jazz Chisholm, Blake Snell, Koda Senga, Randy Arozarena and Salvador Perez in moves they hope will propel them to their first league title since 1990.
Snell and Senga will form a formidable 1-2 punch in the post-season while Perez will probably see time at catcher in a possible platoon role.
For Perez, it is the end of the longest tenure of any player in the league. In September 2011, the Nanooks signed Perez who helped them to three league titles and now, nearly 13 years later, he is headed to Southern California in hopes of his fourth ring.
